Banking Chatbot Development for Banks, Fintechs & Insurers

Chatbots that answer from your approved product terms, pre-qualify applicants and collect documents on your app, website and WhatsApp, and hand customers to a person whenever money or a decision is involved.

Overview

Banking chatbot development grounded in your own products and policies

Customers ask plain questions. What's the profit rate on this home financing? Which documents do I need to open a business account? Does my policy cover windscreen damage? Why was I charged this fee? When the only answers are a long terms PDF or a phone queue, they give up or call. Our banking chatbot development puts those answers in your app, on your website and on WhatsApp, taken from your own product sheets, tariffs and policy wordings.

In finance, a confident wrong answer about a fee or a cover limit becomes a complaint, and sometimes a regulatory issue. So the chatbot uses retrieval-augmented generation: it finds the relevant clause in your approved content and answers from it, and when the content doesn't cover the question, it says so. It doesn't give investment advice, promise approval or guess what a policy covers. Those conversations move to a person with the full transcript. It's the same source-grounded design we built for Vikk AI, a legal assistant that works in 30+ languages for 120,000+ users and hands complex matters to lawyers.

The chatbot also does work. It pre-qualifies loan, card and financing applicants with a short set of questions, the way our CanVisas chatbot pre-screens immigration applicants before passing qualified leads to consultants. It collects KYC documents and claim photos, sends brochures and policy documents as PDFs, and books calls with relationship managers. For Islamic banks and Takaful providers it explains Murabaha, Ijarah and Takaful products in Arabic and English, using only wording your Sharia board has approved.

We deploy through the official WhatsApp Business API and inside your app, connect to your CRM and core systems, and host in the cloud region you choose. You get an admin panel to update content and review conversations, similar to the one we built for AA JoyLand's WhatsApp assistant.

FAQ

AI Chatbots for Finance: FAQs

What is a banking chatbot?

It's an AI assistant on a bank's website, app or WhatsApp that answers product and account questions, helps customers complete tasks such as applications and document uploads, and hands complex or sensitive conversations to staff.

Is a banking chatbot safe for customer data?

Yes, when it's built properly. Chats are encrypted, account details are shown only after authentication, data is kept only as long as your policy allows, and the system can be hosted in your own cloud and region.

Can an AI chatbot give financial advice?

No, and ours are set up not to. The chatbot explains products and fees from your approved content, and passes any request for personal advice or a recommendation to a licensed member of your team.

Can we run a banking chatbot on WhatsApp?

Yes. We deploy through the official WhatsApp Business API, which many customers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan already prefer. Account-specific requests sit behind an authentication step.

How is an insurance chatbot different from a banking chatbot?

The technology is the same, but the work differs. An insurance chatbot explains cover, collects quote details, starts claims and reports claim status, while a banking chatbot focuses on accounts, cards, payments and financing.

How long does banking chatbot development take?

A focused chatbot that answers from your content and qualifies leads can launch in three to four weeks, as our CanVisas and Estraha chatbots did. Authenticated account actions and core integration add time.

How much does a fintech chatbot cost?

It depends on the channels, languages, integrations and security requirements. We scope each chatbot after a short discovery and give a fixed quote. Book a call and we'll tell you what a sensible first version includes.
