AI Solutions for Education & EdTech

Admissions offices drown in the same enquiries every intake, teachers lose evenings to marking and admin, and student data sits unused in the LMS. We build AI voice agents, chatbots, automation and custom edtech AI that take on the routine work while teachers stay in charge of learning.

Overview

AI solutions for education that support teachers, not replace them

Every intake looks the same. Applicants and parents call, email and WhatsApp with identical questions about deadlines, fees, scholarships and entry requirements. Students ask where the timetable is, how to reset their LMS password and when results come out. Teachers spend evenings on marking, written feedback and attendance instead of planning lessons. The Botss builds AI solutions for education that take on this repetitive work for schools, universities, training institutes and edtech companies, so your staff can give their time to teaching and to the students who need them most.

We start from how your institution actually runs. A K-12 school needs something different from a university admissions office, and both differ from an edtech company scaling a learning app or a coaching institute running batches across several cities. We look at your student information system, your LMS, your admissions CRM and the questions your staff answer most, then build the pieces that pay off first. That could be an AI receptionist for admissions season, a student support chatbot on WhatsApp, automation that processes applications and transcripts, an AI tutor that answers only from your course material, or analytics that flags at-risk students while there is still time to help.

None of our published case studies comes from a school, but the work transfers directly. Arthur is a text and real-time voice AI mentor in English and German, grounded on more than 30 books. The same approach powers an AI tutor grounded on a syllabus. Vikk AI is a multilingual assistant serving more than 120,000 users in over 30 languages, the scale an international admissions office needs. CanVisas pre-screens applicants for eligibility before passing them to consultants, which is exactly how an admissions eligibility check works.

Teachers stay in control. AI drafts feedback, but the teacher sets the grade. AI tutors explain and quiz, but they are configured not to write assignments for students. We work with clients across the GCC, Pakistan, Europe and North America and design every system around FERPA, COPPA, GDPR and the UAE and Saudi data-protection laws that apply where you operate.

The problem

Education challenges we solve

01

Admissions season overwhelms the office

Enquiries spike for a few weeks each intake. Calls ring out, emails wait days, and applicants who hear nothing enrol with the institution that replied first.

02

The same eligibility and fee questions, hundreds of times

Can I apply with these grades? Is there a scholarship? Can I pay in instalments? Staff answer identical questions by hand, often in two or three languages.

03

International applicants in other time zones

Prospective students in Lahore, Lagos or Jakarta message while your office is closed. By the time someone replies the next morning, many have moved on.

04

Teachers buried in admin

Marking, written feedback, attendance registers, report card comments and parent emails eat into planning time and evenings, and wear good teachers down.

05

Student data that nobody acts on

Grades, attendance and LMS activity sit in separate systems. Students who are falling behind get noticed at the end of term, when it is too late to help.

06

Strict rules on student and child data

Student records fall under FERPA in the US, GDPR in Europe and PDPL in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and services for children under 13 in the US bring COPPA into play. A generic chatbot sending data anywhere is not an option.

What we build

AI services for Education & EdTech

Use cases

AI use cases in Education

AI admissions assistant

Voice and chat agents answer applicant questions on programs, deadlines and fees, check basic eligibility and book campus tours or counselling calls.

Student support chatbot

Answers questions about timetables, exam dates, LMS logins, library services and IT issues on your website, WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams.

AI tutor grounded on course material

AI tutoring software that explains concepts and quizzes students using only your syllabus, textbooks and lecture notes, and tells teachers where students get stuck.

Parent communication

Handles parent calls and messages about fees, transport, events and absences in English, Arabic, Urdu and other languages.

Grading and feedback assistance

Drafts rubric-based feedback on essays and short answers for the teacher to edit. The teacher always sets the final mark.

Application and transcript processing

Reads application forms, transcripts and ID documents, extracts grades into your SIS and flags anything missing before review.

At-risk student alerts

Models spot patterns in attendance, grades and LMS activity that signal a student may fail or drop out, and alert their tutor.

Enrollment forecasting

Predicts intake by program and campus from your admissions funnel, so you can plan sections, staff and housing ahead of time.

How we deliver AI projects

  1. 01Discovery & use-case mappingWe map your workflows, data and compliance constraints, then rank AI use cases by impact and effort.
  2. 02Data & integration auditWe check the systems the solution must read from and write to, and how clean that data really is.
  3. 03Working prototypeA pilot on your real data in weeks, so you judge results before committing to a full build.
  4. 04Build, integrate & testProduction engineering, security hardening and testing against real conversations and edge cases.
  5. 05Launch & team trainingPhased rollout with your staff trained on handoffs, dashboards and overrides.
  6. 06Monitor & improveWe track accuracy, adoption and ROI after launch and keep tuning the system as your business changes.
FAQ

AI in Education: FAQs

How is AI used in education?

Mostly around teaching rather than instead of it. Schools and universities use AI to answer admissions and student enquiries, process applications, draft feedback for teachers, tutor students on course material and flag students who may need extra support.

Will AI replace teachers?

No. AI takes over repetitive work such as answering routine questions, drafting feedback and compiling records. Teaching, grading decisions and student wellbeing stay with people, and AI tutors are designed to support teachers, not stand in for them.

Can an AI tutor answer only from our course material?

Yes. We ground the tutor on your syllabus, textbooks and lecture notes using retrieval-augmented generation. If a question falls outside that material, it says so instead of improvising.

How do you stop students using AI to cheat?

It depends on your policy, and we build to it. Tutors can be set to give hints and ask guiding questions rather than finished answers, to refuse to write graded work, and to log conversations so teachers can review them.

Is AI in schools FERPA and COPPA compliant?

It can be designed to support both. We limit what data the AI sees, encrypt it, restrict access by role, keep audit logs and can host in your own cloud. Compliance also depends on your own policies and consent processes, so we work with your data protection lead on the final setup.

Does it work with Moodle, Canvas or Blackboard?

Yes, in most cases. We integrate through LMS APIs and LTI, and with SIS and admissions systems such as PowerSchool, Ellucian Banner and Slate. We confirm what your setup supports during discovery.

Can the AI talk to parents in Arabic and Urdu?

Yes. Our voice agents and chatbots handle English, Arabic, Urdu and many other languages, and can switch when a parent changes language mid-conversation.

Do you work with edtech companies?

Yes. We build AI tutoring apps, adaptive learning features and edtech MVPs, and we add AI features to existing learning platforms. You keep full ownership of the code and models.

How long does an education AI project take?

It depends on scope. Focused chatbots such as our CanVisas and Estraha builds shipped in three to four weeks, and the Vikk AI MVP took six weeks. We give you a timeline after a short discovery phase.

How much does AI for a school or university cost?

It depends on the use case, the number of systems involved, languages and data requirements. We scope each project and give a fixed quote after discovery. Book a call and we'll outline a realistic first phase.
