Who we are
The Botss (“we”, “us”) is an AI development company based in Karachi. You can reach us at info@thebotss.com with any privacy questions.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our contact form we collect the name, email, optional phone number, the topic you select, and your message, so we can respond to your enquiry.
Chat assistant conversations. When you use the on-site AI assistant, we store the messages you exchange with it, along with an anonymous, randomly-generated browser identifier, so we can improve the assistant and follow up on genuine enquiries. This identifier is not linked to your real identity unless you choose to share contact details in the chat.
Lead details. If you provide your name, email, and what you need help with through the assistant, we create a sales lead from that information and may add it to our customer relationship management (CRM) system so our team can get back to you.
Usage data. Like most websites, we use analytics (Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. This may include your approximate location, device, and pages visited.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request.
- To improve our website, content, and AI assistant.
- To contact you about a project you started a conversation about.
- To keep our services secure and prevent abuse.
Third parties we share with
We share data only with the service providers that help us operate: Formspree (contact form delivery), Google (analytics and the Vertex AI model that powers the assistant), and our own CRM for managing leads. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep enquiry and conversation data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing info@thebotss.com. You can also clear the assistant's stored identifier at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
